1981 Chevrolet Corvette

1981 Corvette, L81-350/3 Speed Automatic 43K documented mileage, Unique Color Combo of Black with Cinnabar(basketball) interior. L81-350/3 Speed Automatic This is a super clean, low mileage, gorgeous vette. Pretty much loaded all with all the goodies in 1981 EXCEPT dual electric mirrors. THE FOLLOWING ALL WORK – All gauges, ODO, Trip, Warning Lights in dash including Low Fuel(lol I found out), Power Windows, Power Locks, Horn, Wipers, Courtesy lights(dome and kick panel), Cruise(yes, it works). Factory Leather Seats(Inner Leather/outer vinyl), Tilt, Telescoping steering, Polished Aluminum Wheels with spinners, Bronze Mirror Glass T-Tops, 6-way Electric Driver Seat, Rear Window Defrost. New 14" Mahogany and Chrome 3 spoke Steering Wheel. The body is great and paint job is fantastic. No major blemishes at all and the car has had a repaint as most would at this age. Not a rust car at all and really clean bird cage. Interior looks amazing and has one little 1-2” seam crack in drivers seat that is tucked into the deep side panel so really isn’t noticeable, nor does it sit where most cracks/tears do. Original jack is in place in rear compartments. The long rear compartment door hinges are cracked but still opens and closes no issues. The vette has a Sony Stereo Head Unit that is Sirius Radio/Blue Tooth/CD/USB/Aux/Phone Mic installed. This is a custom set up tied to an amp, sub w/level control and aftermarket speakers in Front and Back with cosmetic side panels in rear. Stereo absolutely rocks! See pics. Under the hood the vette has factory and #’s match L81 with Aftermarket Aluminum Corvette Valve Covers, Edelbrock Performer(2101) Intake manifold, Weber Carb(8867/600CFM), Edelbrock Air Cleaner, Mallory Ignition and Chrome Alternator. Emissions items have been removed as well as air intakes and factory air cleaner(I do not have). Vettes runs in 190’s with AC on, does not run hot. Power Antenna does not go up and down but gets signal. Newer 2.5” true dual exhaust system off of the factory manifolds, straight back to Turbo type mufflers. Passenger side lower part of exhaust manifold has a mild leak. Also, exhaust are fiberglass wrapped around floor pans to reduce heat transfer. Brand new AC compressor and AC service, cold and blows hard. Recent brake work done prior to me but all 4 calipers look newer/fresh looking some with new lines.
